Teddi Mellencamp Is Not Leaving ‘RHOBH’
Shutting down the rumors. On Wednesday, August 19, Teddi Mellencamp began trending on Twitter after a screenshot began circulating that appeared to be from her account.
“Hope everyone enjoys tonight’s episode of #RHOBH – it’s a bumpy ride,” the tweet read. “After 3 seasons, I have decided to walk away from the show. I wish the cast, production and Bravo all the best in the future seasons, and I am grateful that I have made some lifelong friends out of this experience.”
However, the reality star, 39, quickly shot responded to the claim that she was exiting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“Whoever made this fake tweet and has been posting it around… not true but thanks for the extra pass,” Mellencamp wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday morning. “I did not post this. It’s photoshopped and fake.”
The Indiana native, who joined the Bravo series in season 8 after Eileen Davidson and Eden Sassoon exited, has been promoting this season of RHOBH via her Instagram all week, in between posting photos and videos of her family and her workouts.
The ALL-IN by Teddi founder shares children Slate, 7, Cruz, 5, and Dove, 5 months, with her husband, Edwin Arroyave, and has been very open about getting healthy and back in shape after having her third child.
“It’s easy to lose ourselves in comparison — how we perceive our bodies vs others,” she captioned a mirror selfie via Instagram on Saturday, August 15. “We too often default to self-criticism and forget about the effort we’ve put in to get to here. It’s taken years of work for me to feel comfy enough to head to a beach day and only think about the good times I’ll be having with the kiddos, rather than things not fully in my control. Even so, I can snap a pic feeling confident in my bikini, but the reality is the stretch marks and loose skin are there.”
In June, she also reminded her followers that “every person’s journey is different,” and this time, her body has been drastically different than it was after welcoming her first two children.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
